Survivors' Gathering 2022 September 30 & October 1

This is a private event for Survivors and Inter-generational Survivors of the Mohawk Institute.
This event takes place at the Mohawk Village Memorial Park, located on the grounds of the Former Mohawk Institute. The hope and purpose of this event is to gather Survivors together to share their stories and help heal.
The event will take place over two days on Sept 30th and Oct 1st. There is also an opportunity to have your story preserved in a video or audio recording for Woodland Cultural Centre’s Education Program. An Honorarium will be paid for your time.
Please note this event is limited to 100 Survivors and one guest each. As sensitive topics may discussed, we ask that registrant try to bring support persons over the age of 18 in order to create a safe space for Survivors to share openly. Pets are not permitted unless they are registered support animals.
Some financial supports are available for travel and accommodation costs if needed. Please select the type of support you need and a member of our team will contact you to coordinate.
